Objective : The improvement of firing control capability of 166 Leopard 1A1/A1A4 tanks existing in the inventory of Turkish Land Forces Command.

Project Model : Development, serial production and integration of the VOLKAN Fire Control Systems on Leopard 1/A1A4 tanks.

Contract Date : 18 January 2002
Status : The qualification tests carried out with the prototype tank were successfully completed in October 2005. The Serial Production activities are going on according to the program schedule. The deliveries will have been completed by March 2008.
