Objective : The procurement of 10 (ten) Maritime Patrol Aircraft platforms with Maritime Surveillance capability and integration of Mission Equipment to the platforms

Scope : To procure 10 (ten) Turkish Maritime Patrol Aircraft and with Submarine Warfare and Maritime Surveillance/Reconnaissance capability from Alenia together with supplies and services and deliver to Turkish Navy.

Contract Date : 20 July 2005

Status : MELTEM-3 contract has become effective since April 2006. Within the scope of offset and local content obligations of Alenia, the agreements for some work packages have been signed with TAI.  The design activities, with the participation of TAI engineering team, for structural modification is going on.
