Objective : The procurement of the mission equipment and integration of these equipments to 9 CN-235-100M platforms of the Meltem-1 project.

Scope : To procure  from  THALES  6 (six) Maritime Patrol Systems, 3 (three) Maritime Surveillance Systems and 10(ten) Maritime Patrol Mission Equipment Package will provide and deliver with such supplies and services to Turkish Navy and Turkish Coast Guard  as being the end user.

Status : The structural modification activities on Turkish Coast Guard’s first A/C have been completed. The telemetry system for flight tests has been installed on the A/C and flight test is planned to be started in March 2007. The structural modification activities on the Turkish Navy’s first A/C are still going on. The flight test activities will start in October 2007. The Mission System software development activities will be finalized until July 2007 by Havelsan and integrated software verification tests will start in August 2007.
