Objective : By means of advanced technology transfer which is gained by according to contract for building of Mine Hunting Vessels in İstanbul Naval Shipyard in Türkiye, it will be gained/retained the workforce of ship design, ship building, ship integration and tests capabilities and employment will be provided for Turkish labor force.
Regarding contract, with technology transfer agreement and ofset agreement also has been done. In this respect, it is aimed that the Turkish Defense Industry has been developed. Turkish added value goal has been 20 % according to contract. Above mentioned all characterisitics/goals and acquisition model of project have been considered for calculation of this value.
Scope : Construction of the 1st MHV at Abeking&Rasmussen and Fr.Lürssen Werft Consortium’s shipyards and other MHVs at Istanbul Naval Shipyard and acqusition of one shore based training simulator.

Status : The Contract for the Mine Hunting Vessel was signed on 30.07.1999. Final acceptance of 1st MHV was successfully realized on 10.04.2006. Final acceptance of Shore-Based Training Simulator was successfully realized on 15.09.2006. The provisional acceptance of; 2nd MHV realized on the 24th of January 2007 , 3rd MHV realized on the 22nd of June 2007, 4th MHV realized on the 24th of January 2008 and 5th MHV realized on the 10 October 2008. The Final acceptance of; 2nd MHV realized on the 24th of January 2008 and 3rd MHV realized on the 24th June 2008. 6th MHV are on going at İstanbul Naval Shipyard, under the execution of Abeking&Rasmussen and Fr. Lürssen Werft Consortium.
